Historic 14th Century school nearly burnt down by exploding laptop

HUNDREDS of pupils were forced to flee a historic 14th Century school after its was almost burnt to the ground – by an exploding laptop.

Students were evacuated from the prestigious Lichfield Cathedral School after the laptop computer exploded, causing flames to engulf the building.
Thirty firefighters scrambled to tackle the flames – to stop them spreading to the 927-year-old Lichfield cathedral which is located just metres away
